This certification is active for 2 years and includes access to all training materials.
Trainings will be held every Tuesday March 1st through 22nd, 2022

What is it?
SEEDS of Learning is a set of Early Childhood Professional Development frameworks. SEEDS of Parenting uses a Train-the-Trainer model to guide practitioners working with parents and family members in supportive, caring, and productive interactions. Through SEEDS Quality Interactions, we foster age-appropriate development. This framework shows how to:
Seamlessly integrate meaningful literacy-rich exchanges throughout the day.
Increase parent efficacy (confidence and capability) through a research-based skill development cycle.
Strengthen learning through quality interactions.
Upon completion of training, participants will take a knowledge-based assessment in order to receive certification. The certification is active for 2 years and includes access to all training materials.
True to the SEEDS gradual release model (and unlike many virtual training series available), participants increasingly lead facilitation of the content, receiving feedback from SEEDS Master Trainers and peers to support skill development and content understanding.
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:
Utilize SEEDS Trainer competencies and skills in relationship-based training interactions
Identify the five essential components of early literacy
Describe the importance of relationships and trust in brain development
See models of Big 5 Learning Rich Schedule, routines that are tested, and found to have a significant impact on child learning and development
